All three bedrooms and both bathrooms will be down a hall to your left. The master, with a private bath, has a king bed and a 55" television (bring your own streaming access); the second bedroom bedroom has a king bed and 55" television also. The third bedroom has a full/double-size futon (inner spring mattress), two video games, and board games. The rustic modern decor creates an atmosphere suitable for romance and families alike. The cabin features winter views, a year-round hot tub, an open floor plan, 9' ceilings, an electric fireplace, a fire pit, a well-stocked kitchen. We offer high-speed Internet that will support it (many properties in this area have satellite; ours is 5G wireless). ★★Outdoor areas: Rocking chair front porch faces neighborhood, nice rear deck, patio, and yard with hot tub, fire pit, electric grill, and chairs. ★★Setting: Our cabin is situated with a beautiful winter view. We are close enough you could walk to Shenandoah Outfitters and the River, and we are about 8 minutes from Bixler’s Ferry boat launch if you bring your own kayak or canoe. We do have neighbors, but the neighborhood is peaceful. Arbor vitae (currently about 5-6' tall) divide our property line to help provide privacy. ★★We are located in a wooded neighborhood with gravel roads. 4WD recommended in winter. ★★Smart Home: You will check-in with a smart lock using a provided keypad combination. The property is equipped with a Nest thermostat and a security system (used only when the property is vacant between guests). ★★Only suitable for small groups seeking a peaceful getaway: WE HAVE NEIGHBORS, SO THIS CABIN IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PARTIES OR GROUPS SEEKING ANYTHING OTHER THAN A GROUP SEEKING A QUIET GETAWAY. ★★Pets: With a $75 pet fee per stay, up to two well-behaved dogs under 50lbs. are permitted at this cabin. Please note, however, that this cabin has white pillows, bedding and a creamy white color in the rug, so please wipe paws and ensure that your pup is fully house trained. You will check-in using a smart keypad, but we have locals nearby who can help if there are any problems during your stay. This cabin is located in a rural neighborhood with other cabins/houses. Walking distance (though not on smooth pavement) to Shenandoah River Located in a rural neighborhood with an unpaved road, the property is about 2 minutes from the Shenandoah River Outfitters, 8 minutes from the Bixler's Ferry Boat ramp to the Shenandoah River, 20 minutes to Luray Caverns and the Luray Walmart, and 30 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park. People visiting Page County from a distance should know that the region has wonderful activities, scenery, wineries and more, but it is a rural area comprised of small towns. This property is quiet and secluded, though within 30 minutes of most of the attractions in the Shenandoah region! Also, Uber and Lyft are not available in Page County. ★★Cell service in the area is very limited, but you may connect via WiFi at the cabin. We use wireless/5G wifi, so it is a good speed and is reliable. Please note that streaming can experience (very) occasional buffering though. The Internet at our cabin is faster than most of those around us (they use satellite). ★★All linens provided, including for the futon. Please note that the futon is reasonably comfortable, but may be best considered for children and teens.
